“This is probably the best car wash place I tried in LA area. I go to Pepperdine which is 5 mins away from here but never tried this place until my senior year after hearing good feedbacks from my friends.

I’m usually lazy to write yelp reviews unless it’s really good or bad, and this place did the best job on cleaning/detailing my car, so here I am. After just experienced bad service at the other car wash place in West LA and paid $200 + for detailing two weeks ago, I had to get it done again. The pricing is indicative of the times (Covid) and the location. Let’s get honest, you’re in Malibu by choice so it’s going to cost you a little bit more but you can go to any car wash in mid-cities and still pay $20+ for your car to go through a 60-second machine ride. Isn’t the fact that a human being is doing the job instead of a spinning brush make you feel better about supporting the local economy?”

“Let me start by saying “I am a car guy.” The level of car care reminds me of the early days of car detailing. There is never a missed spot on the glass or any other part of the car. Today is my third visit for a detail. I brought a brand new car in because the dealer delivered it with swirl marks from a machine wax. They had my car looking better than when I took delivery from the dealer.
I highly recommend the Malibu Car Wash if you desire high quality service and staff. Since a full detail takes an hour or more you can take advantage of the internet at Coffee Bean and get some work done. It’s a win-win.”

“I’ve had both my ‘07 Jaguar and ‘59 Corvette detailed, washed and waxed here a few times and they are AMAZING. Justin is super nice - only suggests things that would make a significant difference in the look of the car - like polishing out the headlight lenses on my Jag which took 10 years off it!! The Corvette hasn’t looked this good in 25 years (ok, more). And today I watched him handle a client that wasn’t totally happy with them not getting to his car at all (it was late Sunday afternoon and they were packed). He offered to wash it for free the following day without hesitating. When I came to pick up my car 3 hours after dropping it off, the guys saw me coming, pulled the car around, opened the door with a polishing cloth and held it for me until I settled in. LOVE THESE GUYS!”

“I stumbled on this place while shopping with my girl. It’s conveniently located in an upscale shopping center with restaurants, a movie theater and many shops. You can kill some serious time here if you wanted to wait for a full wax and detail. If you want your car to look good as new, you should ask for Justin. This guy knows cars and knows how to make them shine! He’s a really nice guy too, so I was surprised to read some of these reviews. Apparently, he doesn’t like dealing with a-hole customers!!”
